On that list, Bloodstained and Dragon Quest XI are definitely the ones I'm most hyped for. Well, maybe hyped is the wrong word; I've dialed it down a bit in my increasing age. Let's go with excited.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next Console Kirby game. I'd buy a switch for that.

I'm mostly excited for Octopath Traveler and Shenmue 3. The former is purely down to the amazing demo that really engaged me and has left me so hyped to play the full game. I honestly don't get very excited for RPGs much anymore, but something about this one just sucked me right in.

Shenmue 3 is purely because I'm just a huge fanboy for the series and even if it's a critical failure and the haters come out the woodworm, because people are desperate to shit on everything that comes out of Kickstarter, I know that I'll love it as long as Yu Suzuki can maintain the feeling and gameplay of the originals.

YW3 came out in 2016, while YW2 came out in 2014, which leads me to think the 4th game will come out next year. I'm fairly sure there's been 0 information about it yet, so it's more like I'm excited for the idea of that game

Then one that's really coming out next year is Hokuto ga Gotoku. It's been a very long tiem since I've been SO hype for a game. Two of my favorite franchises coming together for one massively silly and rediculous game! Yeah, you could say I'm pretty excited for that one X3

There are a lot of games I'm looking forward to, but legitimate hype?

Strange Journey Redux on 3DS, Persona 5: Dancing All Night and Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night on Vita; and on Switch, Fire Emblem, Octopus Tentacle (much better name than Octopath Traveler), Metroid Prime 4, Travis Strikes Again, Shin Megami Tensei V, and Lost Sphere. I'm not convinced Shenmue III is actually going to end up coming out in 2018, so I'm leaving that off my list.

Btw Segata, Lost Sphere is getting a physical release in the United States, but it's exclusively through Square's online store.
