They either owned a 3DS or didn't consider SMT4 a "real" entry due to it being on a handheld and to people like that handhelds don't count.
Because if I know my whiny internet peons, they're either hypocrites or wandering around with blinders on.

That would fit. I know I've seen too many peons piss all over handheld gaming for over 20 years now as some non-gamer, non-gaming experience of poor knockoffs of franchises and piddly pick up and play crap that doesn't deserve to be considered a real game. SMT4 I had for awhile the one with the bonus art/guide book too and it was a pretty solid game that didn't feel like anything but a big title that ate a LOT of hours.

That's entirely my sentiment. I've actually come to like and appreciate those types of stupid people the most. It has helped keep the price escalation largely away from handheld and stuck to just roasting consoles. So many games for the GB line, Game Gear, and the like that don't also do console (Turbo Express/Nomad) keep staying low where most of it lands in that $1-30 range even for the notable franchise stuff. I'm thankful for the dumb stigma.
