So I don't know if anyone's been paying attention but there's been rumors floating around that Bandai Namco is announcing a Dark Souls 1 remaster for current consoles including the Switch at their event on the 15th.
The source is a gaming journalist, Marcus Sellars whose focus is on Nintendo stuff. He initially tweeted about it being on the Switch but deleted the tweet then reposted about it coming to XBone and PS4 as well.
His source has been kept anonymous though so take that as you will. We'll know for sure on the 15th.

They're less founded but rumors about that started spiraling around as well since Atlus, Sony and Bandai Namco are shutting down their servers at the same time. It's made people suspicious that they're up to something with the IP.
It'd be nice to see DS1 built to work at 60fps, if nothing else.
Unlike titles released so far, I'd probably actually rebuy it on Switch - I've ended up messing around in DS1 on integrated graphics while traveling, and that'd surely be an improvement.
Started up Bloodbourne the other night and am as far as Martyr Longinus who is tough but I've got his pattern down. Was a bit too tired to deal with him properly, meant to parry but got cocky and got wrecked.
In general the game is very Souls like of course but I like the shifted emphasis onto quicker more attack minded play. The firearm and interuppt ability really keep things on edge.
I also really like the Georgian aesthetic and obvious Lovercraftian overtones. Also some plain weirdness, like the little jelly head men, killing pigs by punching them up the arse and the freaky people holed up in their houses.
So I've been meaning to pick up Demon's Souls for a while. I've been keeping an eye on the price and it's getting steeper (at least here in the UK).
Should I just pick it up, like, right now? Or should I wait till I've got less to play? I did really enjoy Bloodborne and the little I have played of Dark Souls 1. Haven't played 2 or 3.
Also I'm kinda bumbed that the servers are now offline, but oh well. I doubt it'll ever get ported or remastered.
