44. Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II (GameCube)
Just droppin' a quick post here, as this is the fourth iteration of Phantasy Star Online I've rolled through since joining the forum.

Anyhow, the game's pretty fun on the 'Cube. I played as a human female ranger (a "RAmarl" if you go by the incoherent PSO language) and spent about 32 hours traversing both episodes on normal mode. I didn't realize how lopsided the episodes were. Episode I is grindy and quest-based, while Episode II is a quest-less cakewalk with rehashed enemies and bosses. I think 26 of my hours were spent in the first episode.

Gameplay is just as repetitive and addictive as ever. I'm excited to try some split-screen multiplayer now. And perhaps one day I'll get to the Plus version of the game, as well as the Xbox port (now playable thanks to hackers!)
