It's kind of crazy cool they've made a game with three entirely different coats of paint.

8-4 Play kind of sold me on the PS4 version, but seriously yeah they all look amazing.

So hyped for the PS4 version. Whenever I have a Switch may get it for that instead just for the ability to have it on the go.

(The SFC box art is infinitely better than the SNES box art.)
88. Kendo Rage | SNES | 1993 | 6/10

Here's a breezy side scrolling platformer starring a teenage girl, if you're into that sort of thing. Josephine must use her psychic powers and bamboo sword skills to fend off ghosts, monsters, and wildlife. Why? I don't know. There's a plot here that I didn't pay attention to. Why? Because the localization has some of the most cheesy cringe dialogue I've ever seen, that's why. So you run, you jump, you kill baddies, nothing new here. Graphically Kendo Rage is decent, it's got a nice clean cutesy vibe going on. The music is peppy but kinda annoying. Levels are short and simple, with boss fights much the same. Kendo Rage is over before you know it, I beat this game in about twenty minutes. It's rather easy sans the boss rush at the end, but even that wasn't too bad. Kendo Rage would have been good as a rental back in the 90s, but little else. It did teach me not to trust Japanese guys with green hair though.

Yeah I already downloaded those. But I think they're fighters, not platformers. Not that fighters aren't OK.

I figured your weeb ass already knew about these. My post was more of a public service announcement.

I'm actually a fan of Kendo Rage. You should have posted that ridiculous American box art though.

I don't understand what I'm looking at.
