I'm surprised people still have trouble with it selling out too fast. I literally added Read Only Memories, VA-11 HALL-A, Xenon Valkyrie+, and MUSYNX to my cart are was able to check out with all of them no problem.

Last day to order second batch of Oceanhorn (Switch)... that game never looked all that great to me. Am I missing out?

I'd say you're not. I played through the game on PC a year or two ago and it was mostly underwhelming. It's not bad, just kind of an average, very easy Zelda-clone.

What I played of it was pretty average imo.

Just did today, too.

Another reason to procrastinate locating those silly Genesis add-ons for me.

my copy of Night Trap arrived yesterday, just in time for the monthly Halloween gaming with my wife.

I'm on the fence about Golf Story. How much 'story' is there to deal with between the 'golf'? TBH, I would love some kind of great golf game to play portably. I'm having flashbacks to my obsession with Pangya on the PSP. But I feel like I want like just golf... not so much the RPG part.

Fucking Layers Of Fear has been announced and the Switch version looks gorgeous with that big box, art book and soundtrack. sigh. I got that game for free thru Xbox Games With Gold, and I can't really think that I'll play through it again so soon. But my wife LOVED that game, and the physical version is just so nice looking. Ugh. I should pass.

How is Layers of Fear dude? I'm not big of what the gaming media refers to as 'walking simulators', but then I seem to have enjoyed the more horror themed ones out there. I enjoyed Outlast for example, so would I like Layers of Fear?

I'm not a big fan of the genre either, but I'd call Layers Of Fear more of a 'downward spiral similator,' haha.

If interested, here's what I wrote about it after beating it last year:

So...I don’t like the concept of Limited Run games, and I don’t collect for any system with Limited Run games. I read recently, however, that Limited Run is publishing a Wii U game. Any speculation on what it might be? Depending on the title, I may have to spring for that one. (Elkin and I can team up to get some copies, I guess.)
