Exhuminator's shortest review!

I seriously want to ask though, do a lot of you guys not have other main hobbies? The beaten numbers are kind of staggering. I feel pretty good about beating 50 some games a year. Not that it's a race or I really care, just ... had to ask.

I usually only play about 1-2 games at a time and then rotate anime/TV/movies in there and some music phases off and on.

I figured out that I game 35-40 hours a week. In terms of other hobbies, I play Magic once a week and I have a handful of TV shows I watch. But those don't take up much time compared to the gaming.

Pretty much I just have about 5-10 anime series that I watch regularly each week and the rest of the time is spent gaming and/or hunting for more games on/offline.

My problem is I have a tendency to get caught up in more current games as well as alot of games that go on for 40+ hours :P. Many times I don't end up finishing them either.

You and me both. I work a lot - but, thankfully, not as much as I used to - and I spend a lot of time with my family and taking care of my house. I also watch a show or movie most nights. Right now, I am at the beach, and I just started reading another book (The Tutn of the Screw by Henry James).

I'm a busy grown up with busy grown up stuff to do, but I manage to eke out an average of 3 hours of personal time a day. Or rather, late at night, after everyone else has gone to bed (and I should be in bed really). With those 3 free me-time hours, I usually spend at least 2 of them playing a game. I could watch more movies, read more books, watch more TV shows, listen to more music, whatever people do. But the fact is, I just find gaming more entertaining than any of that.

I'm a college student who doesn't live on campus, has friends that all have jobs, and has no romantic partner, so I have a lot of free time, and video games happen to fill all of that time Xp

Granted I don't beat that many games, mostly because I tend to play longer ones (which I occasionally don't finish).

I guess doing things like putting in over 100 hours into Dark Souls 3 might slow me down a little too.

That's the real thing. NG+ing games you've already beaten or getting heavy into multiplayer will cut into your beaten percentage.

77) Contra
78) Wario Land: Shake It!
79) Gimmick!
80) Ninja Gaiden (GG)
81) Wai Wai World 2 (NES)

I'd always skipped this game because it starts out with an autoscrolling sequence, and I just kinda assumed the whole game was like that. Not so much! It's basically Konami World 2, and has lots of homages to other Konami properties. You choose your heroes to start (guys like Goemon, Fuuma, Upa, Bill Rizer, and Simon Belmont), and head into the game. But you don't play as them initially. Instead, you pick up "C" icons that let you change into those guys. A timer starts at 60 seconds, and hits decrease the timer. When it's over, you revert to your basic form. It turns out that it's really easy to keep transformed, though, which makes the game ridiculously easy...

...except for the shooter stages. Oh, yes, there's a Twin Bee segment (not too bad) and a Gradius segment (which can be tough). There's also some other minigames scattered along the way, and some branching paths that I didn't take. Oh, and a Frogger sequence leading to the last area. Stupid Frogger. It's not calibrated easy here, either.

Anyway, a fun little one-hour diversion. A nice, breezy platformer for the most part.

Yeah. I've beaten fewer than 15 games so far this year, but many of them were longer games, and I have been heavy into at least two multiplayer games this year. That cuts into what I get through significantly.
