Games Beaten 2016
Re: Games Beaten 2016
Yeah, I agree, they're all good. It's like comparing the best Zelda game.

LttP. I wasn't aware there was even a question about it.

It's actually Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. (If you disagree or have trouble beating it, it is because you are bad at video games and because video games hate you so much.)
Also, Ghost Babel is really, really solid. It plays very similarly to the MSX games.
Re: Games Beaten 2016
Probably should have made that plural. Games.
Still, it's obviously Link's Awakening.
I love Zelda II. My first NES game.
Indeed, it's surprisingly similar mechanically to Metal Gear 2, and actually has a lot of the moveset from the PSX version, too; this actually just confirms that Metal Gear Solid was basically an 8-bit game with a 32-bit paint job.

Hands down no question.

NOPE
(In all seriousness, Link's Awakening and A Link to the Past are like [1] and [1a]. You can't go wrong with either.)

OK...I am just going to start a list:
People Who Are Terrible at Video Games and Who Video Games Hate So Much Because They Don't Like Zelda II
People Who Are Pretty Much The Best At Everything And Recognize Zelda II's Genius
EDIT: In all seriousness...sigh...nevermind...
EDIT: Close enough! He's back in!

Re: Games Beaten 2016
I think I see the problem. You prefer action RPGs to action-adventures, so obviously you're going to prefer the only RPG Zelda.

What, Zelda II can't be [1b]?

Yeah the radar is exactly the same across Metal Gear 2 and MGS1-MGS2. It's a big reason why I love them.
