I just called her Commander Shepherd ;p

Another thing I forgot to mention, though it's not important enough to warrent editing the post, is how much I appreciated how sensibly dressed everyone was. There weren't any gratuitous thigh or boob windows. Though I suppose Royal's ab-window breaks that, but those are uncommon enough in general I felt I could look past it.

I've worked on Teen Titans GO. In fact, I have watched every episode multiple times and then had to note every character that appears, including in background art. The best one was when Starfire found Deadman's corpse under her bed.

He's also Liquid Snake!

And Presea is Raven (from Teen Titans)!

And Regal is Winston (from Overwatch)!

And Rodyle is Cosmo (from Fairly Odd Parents)!

I had no idea how many cartoon heavyweights worked on that! I guess it's not surprising though, given that video game voice acting was still in its infancy here in the states.

Also, trowing through IMDB can be very addictive.

Another UV run of Doom 2 down and with that, I think I'm officially id'd out haha. Amusing that I got Doom 4 on the PS4 which sparked this PC FPS massacre.

I will still standby with some of my remarks on Doom 2 from the FPS thread in that the difficulty is just hilariously weird. The second half is by far just way easier than the first, especially compared to the levels a third into the game. I have no idea what happened or if they somehow messed up the level placement or should have done the "episodes" a bit differently, but yeah. And it's not because you might be more stacked on weapons/items, because the later levels just straight up feel safer and more forgiving. Thankfully I knocked out Icon of Sin pretty easily this time around too, which usually bugs me.

There's still No Rest For the Living that's included with the BFG Edition, but I think I'm officially ready for a break and will get back to that again some other time, I've beaten it twice as well anyways.

The verdict is that I love all the Doom's and am happy to be a Quake 1 fan, along with regenerating my love for 2. At the very least I'd say check out Quake 1 after Doom 4, it's really cool to see how similar they really are.

Huh, I just picked up Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 at Goodwill for like a whopping $3 total. Should get to playing those.

The answer to, "Can I 1CC Altered Beast on Genesis?" is yes.

On top of that, I managed to get to the last stage on the hardest difficulty as well. Gonna practice a bit more, see if I can't pull it off.

EDIT: But no more tonight. It takes a darn near perfect run, and missing any of the powerups in the last stage makes things that much worse.

Should have played the 32x port when you were here. Everything's better on 32x.
