Exhuminator, I think your recommendations are brilliant and very obscure and niche. Everything you mentioned I've never followed before so keep up the good suggestions, knowledge is power brother nothing wrong with sharing that!

I see you on other threads sharing the same info on any given subject that's a huge asset for the readers. No ones complaining :)

You're probably right about the majority unfortunately, but I know at least some of us (myself included) take your recommendations very seriously and have discovered some amazing games entirely because of you. I, for one, hope you keep making recommendations here. :D

Maybe we should make a thread for weird game recommendations. Preferably weird weeby games. Preferably perverted weird weeby games. I think we can see where I'm going with this.

I dunno, sounds to me like you've described 80% of the Vita library

Which is why the Vita has replaced the 3DS as my all-time favorite handheld.

Lol.

I tend to enjoy games that push the envelope with sexual content. Not that I get satisfaction from it in that way but the fact that it's so taboo, even my wife understands that. I'm not into porn anything but when it comes to games I like to be surprised by how far they can go, it's niche for me. Virtual Camerman, Leisure Suit Larry, DOA, Vita Library etc.

I like that, but I also like porn because I'm a creep like that. But I embrace my creep-hood.

I used to like porn during my transition to man hood but I tend to save my aggression for the act, kinda how a bull gets released into the ring.

Whether someone considers these "unknown" or "underrated" games is subjective (obviously), but I'm glad to see some games here I feel are "underappreciated."

I'd love to give a blurb about each game I'd like to mention, but for now, a small block of my personal underappreciated favorites:

Genesis- Trampoline Terror, Skitchin', World of Illusion
N64- Iggy's Wreckin' Balls
3DO- Immercenary
PC- Abobo's Big Adventure, Streets of Rage Remake
Arcade- Vendetta, Gunforce 1 and 2

Big shout outs to Rusty and Claymates, too. Played those quite a bit before.

For what it's worth I had never heard of The Red Star. The largest subsets of my collection are Atari 2600, NES, and SNES. That's my comfort zone, really. Fifth gen and up I generally only play RPGs and compilations, so anything outside that realm is likely unknown to me.

Yeah, if anyone hasn't given Streets of Rage Remake a shot, you should. Tons of content, and it really does feel like a honest-to-goodness SoR.
