You've clearly never cleared R-Type Delta...

I'm pretty good at video games, but it still took me over six hours of continuous play to beat the last two stages in that game...once...on normal difficult...

True...but R-Type Delta is not procedurally generated...Its enemy placement, levels, obstacles, etc. are exactly the same every time you play it...In other words, it is perfectly designed to kill you and make you throw your controller against a wall.

Finally beat Pre-Sequel with the homies tonight. I played a ton of it on my own back on release, but these games just don't feel like solo games and I eventually gave up knowing we'd hit it as a team. Think we did every side-quest too? Still a great game, though not up to BL2 standards quite. The low-gravity is fun tho.

We did every side quest in the base game. You should have gotten the achievement for it.

Let's make a pact that we never say "How I roll" again? Let's also add "bling" to that list.

Onimusha PS2

Still awesome. The graphics are gorgeous, the story intriguing (yet silly), and the difficulty would be preferential for Goldilocks. We need more games with floating and healing orbs.

41. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (PC)(FPS/RPG)

I was also in the multiplayer run of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel along with Noise and Fastbilly. I feel like I missed a bit of it, as we rushed through a lot and the mic support is crap, so a lot of the commentary from my buddy Xen was garbled. But it was still an entertaining experience. Since I was a big fan of Roland and Axton in the previous games, I wanted to seek out a similar experience, so Wilhelm ended up being my character of choice.

The new big thing in The Pre-Sequel is the lower gravity and the oxygen mechanics which allow you to perform double jumps and ground slams. I love these mobility mechanics, even if it does tether you to certain spots at various points to resupply your air. It enables me to explore new heights that I wouldn't have been able to reach so easily in Borderlands 2. But beyond this...well, it's Borderlands 2 with more Australian accents. The plot serves to fill in the backstory of the second game but never really takes off on its own.

I will still be pursuing all of the achievements in this game, just like I did in the first two. I'm currently just under halfway with all of them. This is gonna be interesting...
