I find Great Swordsman and Gladiator to be only remotely playable. I am terrible at both.

Ever seen this game though? It looks amazing, but sadly lacks console ports.

Same here. I think that they are easily the worst, most unplayable games in the Taito Legends compilations (which is really saying something).

No. But the game does include the following:

Tick
Arthur
American Maid
Paul the Samurai
Die Fledermaus
Oedipus
Human Bullet
Captain Lemming
Sewer Urchin
Chairface Chippendale
Red Scare
Running Guy
Chainsaw Vigilante
The Forehead
The Deadly Nose
Eyebrows Mulligan
The Caped Wonder
Sagin
The District Manager
Ninjas
Idea Men
Clowns
Aliens
Thrakkorzog

Based on my calculations, noise should reach Q in 1997, X in 2004, and Z in 2006. That means:

1997: Quake II
2004: Nothing starts with X in 2004 that I can find.
2006: There are 3 expansions for Zoo Tycoon 2 that were released in 2006.

So X is a problem...unless you count a game for the Xbox or Final Fantasy XI...which can't really be beaten in a conventional sense.

X-Men Legends. 8)

Also, you could go with a Xenosaga game. The Greatest Hits version of Xenosaga Episode I and Japanese version of Xenosaga Episode II were released in 2004.

I believe X-Men Legends was released in 2004, which also happens to be a pretty great game in its own right. Is noise's list further restricted to only specific platforms?

Yeah, for some reason I thought that was released in 2005. One of the games based on Zatch Bell came out in 2006 too, as did a PAL-only PS2 port of ZooCube and an OneeChanbara game called Zombie Hunters 2 in Japan.

Are you doing it alphabetically?

If not, see if you can play Death Race.

I was thinking about it. I'll probably go with the TG16 version, it looks like the best. The PSP version looks alright though. And speaking of the PSP, the remake of 3 looks pretty neat too.

TurboGrafx version is the best by a mile. No other ports are even close.

Make sure you crank those speakers.

Thing is, I don't own a TG. I'd be playing it on an emulator via the Wii. IIRC, there's a few choices for TG emulation on Wii. Any recommendations as to which is the best to use?
I'm parting with some duplicate Blu-Ray and DVD movies. Check out this thread if interested.

Oh man I had no idea it was that old!

I'm gonna avoid emulation and stick to carts though. Thankfully I am insane enough to own a Channel F.

I know little about emulation on the Wii.

I used Magic Engine on the PC back in the day, before I had any NEC hardware.
