28. Ikachan (3DS)Ikachan is a very short game from Cave Story's creator, Daisuke Amaya. In it, you play as a squid who saves a group of anemones and fish from a disaster. It is a very, very short "metroidvania" game where the main character looks like a
Blooper and controls like a bird from Joust. (You will be pressing the "A" button a lot.) The game is generally charming, and its atmosphere is very similar to Cave Story's. It is also consistently engagin. I was able to beat the game in about an hour, however, and once you have beaten it, there is really no reason to go back to it. I would have felt ripped off if I paid more than $1.50 for it, but since I didn't, I enjoyed it for what it was.
