That's basically what I needed to know - I thought like, as with Bone, this was a given in the future for you...

Enjoy Diablo III. It is far and away my fave in the series and a ton of fun. I am gonna try the couch co-op thing with my son in a few weeks, even though I've already sunk a ton of hours into the PC version :)

Still on a strategy guide kick...

Been finding these locally. Sometimes they're priced as low as 50 cents each. Who knew these games even had strategy guides?

Also got Front Mission and Treasure Hunter G (both for Super Famicom) in the mail today. I'll be playing a lot of JRPGs in 2015.

Nice. I've got stacks of guides that I should probably get rid of, I picked up quite a few when GameStop pennied out a lot of theirs. It happens every now and then, but I just don't keep track of it like I used to.

Speaking of GameStop, they're running a 30% off of pre-owned games under $20. Snagged a copy of Shinobi for 3DS for under $5. Not too shabby, hopefully it's not too terrible.

Sarge, was this in store or online only? If it's in store, I'm gonna have to hit up my local stores.

Nice. I find guides at local thrift stores all the time. (If I recall correctly, I even passed a few on to you.) Are there any you really want?

.....

I hit the Gamestop "30% off used games under $20" sale. The 30% discount stacked with the 10% Power-Up Rewards discount; so, I acquired:

Regular Show: Mordecai & Rigby in 8-bit Land (3DS; CIB);
Angry Birds: Star Wars (PS3; CIB);
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut (PS3; CIB);
Enchanted Arms (PS3; CIB);
Hellboy: The Science of Evil (PS3; CIB);
Red Faction: Armageddon (PS3; CIB); and
Red Faction: Guerilla (PS3; CIB)

for just over $40. I am pleased.

None at the present time. :o

But I never thought to look for guides at thrift stores. Are they mixed in with magazines? Gonna scope out Goodwill later this week.

I found a FFXIII guide for $2.50 at another Bull Moose location Saturday.

They also had Dragon Quest IV and V (DS) guides. I passed because they were $8 each and I've already completed both games. I sort of regret it now, as I do own the VI and IX guides so it would be kinda cool to have the set.

I really dig this game. I think my copy has a manga comic included or something.

At my local thrift stores, they are usually mixed in with the larger books (i.e., cookbooks, atlases, etc.) or children's picture books. (Basically, you can find them wherever they will fit on the shelf, and I most often run across them when I am looking for books for my children.)

Glad to hear that. It was developed by From Software, has decent reviews, and only cost $3 after the discout. I couldn't really turn it down.
