Favorite game art?
Re: Favorite game art?
This ones almost as funny as the Bomberman art. Speaking of which the BM (lol BM )
art kind of reminds me of the cheesy space suits from old Godzilla movies:
Oh my god this picture, This picture right here:

I pretty much have a thing for fighting game art (probably because the characters tend to look more charismatic than those in other genres), and here are some of my favorites:
Arts by Kinu Nishimura
Arts by Shinkiro
Any artwork by Falcoon, but my favorite work of his come from this game:
Last but not least, here are some of the works done by my favorite video game artist of all time, Edayan:

Japanese box art is usually consistently better than their US counterparts, (at least for Japanese games) but WOW those are awesome. I like the Michief Makers one a lot.
I always thought the Japanese box art for Excitebike 64 was awesome too.
The Yoshi's Story box is pretty nice too. Should remind people a lot of the new one coming out:

Most old Falcom games have that dated anime style that I love. Or they just look ridiculously epic.

Did you look at the one for Xanadu? The girl is being up skirted, and appears to have forgotten to put on, or completely fails to understand the concept of underwear.
I do generally like the falcom box art, though.

Yes, it is called Advanced Daisenryaku. Its like a step between Advance Wars and ASL. It has an English patch, but sadly multiplayer is available only via modem.
