Just finished Xcom Enemy Unknown PC. Cleared it on Normal with no soldier deaths. Really enjoyed the game, but still think I like the older ones better.

Thank God that's over. I provided several herculean efforts to try to beat this bastard of a game and I finally beat it. To me this is by far my biggest gaming accomplishment this year, and I'm glad I'm done with Bayou Billy.

Man, that was no fun.

Congratulations! You are now officially better at Nintendo games than Captain N! Completing Bayou Billy is quite the accomplishment.

EDIT: Now you should go play something that is actually fun.

Thanks Duder!

I'll admit, at times I did have a blast, but those moments were far and few between and probably not earned.

Punching 'gators without losing a bar of health? Woo-Hoo! Not dying in any of the zappin' or drivin' stages? Suh-weet! Not eating complete lead from the final boss? All Right! But besides that it was a chore to play. It's one of those games that I don't think many people could beat without "getting into a rhythm", and that rhythm has two left feet.

I've been playing a lot of Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt on the side to relieve the frustration of what is Bayou Billy. Not sure if you can beat those games, but I can say that holding your arm straight out for two hours is pretty good for toning your entire arm (and shoulder).

Games Beaten in 2012 = 32
1/21 To the Moon (PC)
2/28 Kentucky Route Zero: Act I (PC)
3/12 The King of the Wood (PC)
3/14 The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (PC)
3/17 The Darkness 2 (PC)
3/20 Persona 4: The Golden (Vita)
3/27 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate (3DS)

Games Beaten = 7

4/2 Gravity Bone (PC)

If you have like 15-20 minutes to spare and haven't played this yet, you should. It's an interesting take on an FPS and makes you think a little about things. Also, it's free.

I'm going to try and get to Thirty Flights of Loving soon.

Bioshock Infinite is probably the best game I've beaten in the past year or more, and is currently high in the running for my favorite game of this console generation. I took my time with the campaign and probably took a good 15-20 hours to play through, stopping and checking out everything and doing all the sidequests along the way. I can't wait for the upcoming DLC content to play some more. A fantastic experience from start to astonishing end.

With no sarcasm intended, I bet owning Bioshock automatically qualifies you as being the coolest person on the block.

What's the consensus on Infinite's replay value?
