That’s actually a great story, and I’m glad my joke post elicited it. (The correct answer, however, is Ms. Pac Man. )

Parsec is really good. An early scrolling Western shmup that doesn't feel like a total clone of earlier Japanese games. One of the best things on the TI-99/4A, really.

I turn 35 next year. Maybe I should do these kinds of write ups.

You're not supposed to do those sorts of writeups until after your first prostate exam.

I've had exploratory bladder surgery. I think a prostate exam ain't much of a benchmark.

A fun game is a good game. I think we were all at a point when we were surprised how low a game score was by a reviewer after we played it and thought it was amazing.
I remember once a friend telling me if you if you want to know which game is good, look at the "fun factor" rating but I forgot which game magazine had that.

I received my Retro Tink and I must say this thing is amazing. Graphics look "retro" but not unpleasant.
My only worry now is how long will my N64 last. I have made the assumption that this thing is like a solar-powered calculator, it doesn't die. I am afraid of the day it will no longer turn on. Unlike SNES, N64 are not easy to emulate or port.

Um... The N64 is not especially difficult to emulate. What are you talking about?
