At least with DOOM 64 you could optionally use a memory card.
The Mega Man passwords being tiles in a grid wasn't too bad to deal with. Very similar to Castlevania's password system.
And now, to the surprise of nobody, I think I'm going to have to scale back my search for import games. I'll still keep an eye open, but holy crap there's so many. PS1 is a complete wormhole, and finding info on any of it can be ridiculous. Sure, the big name stuff is there, but otherwise... I'm also giving up on Silent Hill 2 for the second time. Its just so boring... here's hoping I like 3.
Is it worth buying Boom Blox 1 + 2? When this was released I was excited for the motion controls but the novelty has died down and I never got around to purchasing it. I wonder how long you can hold the excitement of throwing a ball on a bunch of blocks for 30+ year old guy. I probably will just play for 30min to check it out and get it out of my system.
So PS5 is announced... PS4 still feels very new. Probably for the first time in videogames history I feel like there is nothing we really want this time around as everything already is so satisfactory. I just don't see something in a next generation hardware that will make you want to upgrade or give capabilities for better/different gaming experience.
I don't even feel like there were games that "defined" this XboxOne/PS4 generation yet. I could be very wrong as I am so out of touch with current generation gaming.
