A bit shocked not a single person on my Steam list has it. I'm not even sure how I got it myself though haha, but yeah it's awesome. Speedy platformer and the gun activates/deactivates traps, spring jumps, enemy drones, etc. Nice soundscape to top it all off.

Few more today. Level 4 was a bitch, had some gravity gimmicks that were insane. Almost rage quit... but I got through and there's only 5 levels, so I have to finish this off!

Purple area is the gravity gimmick.

I think the 4th level took me longer than the first three combined haha. Took about 90 minutes for 4.

So is it a puzzle/platformer FPS in the vein of The Ball, Portal, A Story About My Uncle, or Magrunner: Dark Pulse?

Anyway, more Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide screenshots:

It has its moments. Unfortunately it's not perfect, as there is a definite loot grind and the bot AI is batshit stupid at times(though thankfully the dwarf seems pretty good and there are a few ways to mitigate the problems with the AI), but I've been enjoying myself immensely. The game is mostly level based, where you'll have a goal to reach, so you'll have to rush through areas heavily overrun by Scaven and fight off hordes of the rat buggers from time to time. The game is very similar to Left 4 Dead(including special enemies that are basically ripped directly from L4D specials), only with a gear/loot system.

I'm currently knocking out quests and working my way through all levels on Hard difficulty. Once done there, it's onto Nightmare and then attempts at Cataclysm, the highest difficulty. There are also tomes and grimoires to collect for various better possibilities at loot, though grabbing them slightly or majorly hinders the party at times. And then there is Last Stand mode, which is basically "the city is lost, kill as many Scaven as you can until you're overrun." I've tried it but didn't get very far.

What I really appreciate about the game is how heavily it's steeped in Warhammer Fantasy lore. I'd say I prefer the character interactions to those of L4D. It really does feel like these characters live in this world, with its problems, politics, and prejudices. It's pretty awesome.

I think I really like WH lore or I would if I played more of it. I enjoyed the hell out of Space Marine and a large part was the world building.
