Have you played Pathologic (no relation) or The Void? I found both to be much more fascinating and commendable as "art." The Path reminded me of "art" the same way a Von Trier movie does: slow, disturbing, pretty and boring.

Well, I like von Trier's movies too, so I guess we just disagree on that sort of thing.

I haven't played Pathologic yet, but I have played The Void. I liked it more as a game, and there is definitely some artistry to it as well with the cold and gorgeous graphics and the spacey atmosphere to the game, though I did find the gameplay to be rather boring. I guess what I mostly liked about The Path was that I felt it challenged the idea of what is a game in a rather direct way, which seemed more interesting than it's actual message about autonomy.
