Help finding parts for my F Zero AX arcade cabinet
I'm not sure where to put this post. So I just dumped it here.
My friend (who some know as Egoraptor) and I were trying to fix my F Zero motion cab one night but couldn't. He did some research and he thinks I need one of these 2 parts. Maybe both not sure. Maybe someone here will know.
Basically whats happening is the motor or possibly POT (which is short for something) isn't moving the seat side to side anymore. So when I turn the game on and it tries to "initialize" it can't cause the 1st step is for it to callibrate the motion of the seat. So it ultimately wont start up.
We think we need one of these parts...
The motor unit is FZR-3250 but the physical motor is 350-5448-01
The "pot" on the roll vr unit (FZR-3050) and has the unit # 220-5484
They had an alternate part listing for it, 220-5753, which is made by a different company.
Anyone know where I can get these parts?

The "pot", I would assume, stands for potentiometer. Basically it registers how far either way the controller, in this case the chair, is set.
The owner of the arcade near me might have some answers, so I'll shoot him a message with the part numbers and see if he has any ideas on where to grab 'em.

This. Those guys really know their stuff, fixing a modern cabinet would be no problem for them.

Is it just a regular old potentiometer? If so, it would be easy to replace. If the pot doesn't have any stamping on it, you can use the ohms setting on a multi meter to figure out what resistance the pot is. Then a replacement would be easy to get. Got a pic of the pot?
