In this case, I think it might be, "Xanadu what Nintendon't." I feel like Nike could adapt this slogan for themselves, somehow.

We could aim for ultimate confusion with "Xanadu what Xanadon't"

Re: What are you playing?
The Wind Temple in Wind Waker is longer than Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time. It's like a combination of Jabu Jabu's Belly and The Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. It has that very tedious escorting process that the Earth Temple had, and to top it off you have to climb up such large rooms with the hookshot, taking at least 5 minutes to do. The giant pit room is the bane of my existence. You'd think when the current is unlocked it will be easier, but it is somehow just as difficult as using the hookshot for your way up. The final room before the boss as well. It's a very simple puzzle, but the process of it is so long.
It was honestly such a draining experience, but unlike some of the arthouse films I've seen that have the same draining experience, at least they were cathardic in a way. This was draining in a bad way, and took everything out of me.
Last time I played it I gave up at that temple due to my frustration with it. At least now I can say that I passed that part, and will finally beat this game. Really not looking forward to the next part. I heard it's the worst, and even worse on the original gamecube version (playing the Wii U HD version).
EDIT: So drained that I'm now a part of bladee's drain gang.

Is Xanadu related at all to Faxanadu? I remember reading once that the name Faxanadu meant "famicon xanadu" but I didnt think it was part of a series
Havent had much time to play games the last 2 weeks or so due to state testing at my school but for anyone who is into Mega Man you need to check out Mega Man Rock n Roll, it is a new fan game that came out in November of 2019 and it is remarkable. I just made it into Wily's castle and will hopefully have time to finish it this weekend, I would say it is the best fan game since unlimited. It is tough as nails, with great weapons, and lots of cool little touches. I will write a review when I beat it but it definitely is something Mega Man fans need to check out as it seems to be flying completely under the radar.

That sounds like the path to a million seller to me.

The short answer is, “Not really.” The longer answer is that Faxanadu was a botched “port” of Xanadu, by Hudson, that almost kept Falcom from licensing any of their properties to Hudson ever again. It tanked in Japan because it was billed as the home version of Xanadu (which is still potentially the best selling PC game ever, in Japan), but wasn’t. Falcom was furious with what Hudson delivered. Technically Faxandu is an offshoot if the Dragon Slayer series, but not really, just because of what the “Dragon Slayer series” actually is. That’s another whole can of worms, though.
EDIT: Not gonna lie, Ack. Half the time, when I go to play Xanadu, I get Olivia Newton-John stuck in my head.

Faxanadu may not have been a port of Xanadu, but it was fun, competent game nonetheless. Love that Jun Chikuma soundtrack.

Re: What are you playing?
Yeah, plenty of non-Japanese people enjoy Faxanadu. It just wasn’t Xanadu on the Famicom, like what was promised.

Re: What are you playing?
OMG BS ZELDA! I assumed I was just going to play it for a few minutes to record footage for my upcoming review, but I think I have to play it in its entirety and add it on the review as well.
Every time a spell happened, or they drop in some fairies or infinite bombs, it made me so giddy and even shouted "that's so cool!"
On top of that it had this amazing Zelda electro rap song.

Re: What are you playing?
Which version are you playing? The only BS Zelda I've played through (so far) was Ancient Stone Tablets and it was a hell of a lot of fun!
