Not sure why I never posted this before, but one was taken the day I got the MVS before I moved it to where it is. No idea why I don't have one on Pin-Bot, but I do have one once I set her up with her own NES Classic Edition. Don't have a pic with her doing her GBC gaming though. Also seems she's quite addicted to asking to use my Centipede and Q-Bert mini arcades (LCD version) too. She was mostly of the two playing Centipede earlier ago this afternoon.

Normally I'd never post pics of my kid but no face. :)

So cute!

I don't have any pictures to post, but I must note that, today, my children and I played throigh AD&D Shadow over Mystara. I was the swordsman, my son was the dwarf, and my daughter was the mistress of magic (because of course she was). My children loved it, and my daughter is legitimately good at the game. We are going to start over with The Tower of Doom, and play both games, back-to-back, taking a different route through the second game next time.

ELKINFENCER10 used NECROPOST

Been hosting a Gaming History Club at the school where I teach for the past few weeks. Some photos of systems we've played after school.

Atari 2600!

I don't have pictures of these, but I've also brought my Atari 5200 and Intellivision. It took them a while to get into the 2600, but they really enjoyed it once they got into River Raid and Chopper Command. The 5200, I think, would have been more liked if the controller weren't absolute balls. The Intellivision was a total bust, but that's mostly because I've only got three games for the system, and none of them are particularly great. The Vectrex, however, was much better received than I expected. Made my retro gamer heart happy.

Elkin, this is awesome.

The history of the consoles and how they fit into overall industry timeline has always been of huge interest to me. Also, you're likely exposing these kiddos to these for the first time. Not everyone has the privilege of growing up in a retro-centric home
