Circular Scratches vs. Perpendicular Scratches

Post by JC48573 »

So I guess I'm good with a disc where it has a rather deep scratch that is perpendicular to the center of the disc than one that is circular right? I have a few games that have deep scratches but most of them perpendicular to the center. I also want to know if it's common for consoles to cause those circular scratches and which one does that the most so I can start backing up. I just ordered a mailer from skippydisc after my fail attempt with novus (it kinda works, but I wouldn't recommended for games).

I can only count with one hand the amount of disk I've gotten resurfaced.

I got them resurfaced at a place called Family Video. $2 each for one disk. I recommend them. Just don't do Dreamcast games as they can get messed up more (but worth a shot if it is fubar'd)
