What genres do you like? You should let people know that.

A 3ds will be released soon, and it is backwards compatible so keep that in mind. Make a list of games you would want to try for each console, then pick the list you feel is best, and pick that console. Also yea, what genres do you like?

You have a PS3, right? Then you shouldn't get a 360. They're the same thing basically.

I like just about every genre. mainly adventures, fps, rpg, shumps, beat em ups, some arcade fighters, some platformers, racing, and very few sports games.

Yup, get a PC Engine/Turbografx-16. The Wii can help you out here, as well as your PS3.

My vote is probably going to be for the 360. Overall it has a better selection of really great games. The DS is a close second, and the Wii is a not too distant third.

The Wii has some great games (Okami, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Super Mario Galaxy, RE4, Zack and Wiki, & SSBB being my favorites), but I still get more use out of my 360 (Mass Effect!).

You can't go wrong with the DS either. I still play my original DS nearly just as much as my consoles, but for very different games (Phoenix Wright, Prof Layton, various RPGs).

I would get a DS personally, but I have been on a handheld kick recently. It does have the most retro style games out of the systems that you listed.

Sounds like the DS is your best choice. Unless you're holding out to buy a 3DS right away, then definitely go for a DS; you like RPGs, Adventures, and first-party Nintendo games, all 3 of which the system has in spades.

I would wait for the 3DS. You can save more money in the meantime.
