Compared to Ashe, Basch, and Penelo from FF12, the whole cast of of FF13 feels hollow and shallow. (Except for Sazh)
I liked Lightning, specially since she kept punching Snow, but in the end they all became friends.
BTW the scene where Sazh sees his son must be the sweetest thing in gaming I've seen in years. When I saw the afro with the bird and him being the comic relief character I was thinking SE fucked another black character but turns out he was the most relateable and real character in a FF game in a long time.
