holy shit (early christmas gift content)

by aaron Wed Dec 15, 2010 1:17 am

my girlfriend just informed me that she got me something for christmas that i would probably notice since she bought it today on my ebay account. i kinda flipped out.

this should probably be in the "finds of the day" thread but i felt like this was a huge enough deal to post in the main forum. i'm just blown away because she did all of the research herself and felt like this was the "rarest, coolest" saturn shmup that i didn't already have. she was right.

think i'll keep her.

Thoughtful girl! Very nice.

I think she likes you.

Best I got was Winds of Thunder (Lords of Thunder) and some other PC Engine stuff. That was cool, but you have it beat for sure.

Nice!

My girl doesn't like to get me videogames usually, but she did get me Persona 4 for Christmas when it came out and I was very happy with that.

she actually said that this article was her main reason for picking it out for me.

You're still talking about the game, right?

You have an awesome girlfriend who knows her retro.

My wife got me a Kinect. I finally can play games with her without having to explain what to do. I doubt this will ever lead to real gaming with her though but at least we're having fun with game together.
