Mega Man Ongoing Comic Book Series

Post by scottykick »

Looks like the same team behind the very popular Sonic the Hedgehog series, will be launching a new ongoing Mega Man series, and may spin it off into other areas of the Mega Man/Rock Man mythos (Legends, Mega Man X...)

Aw crap. What Mega Man really needed was soap opera romances, and even more fodder for lousy "ship" fanfics. I hope it generates less porn than the Sonic comics.

The art looks really good though. :D

I bought alot of superhero comics back in the early 90's that turned out to have little collector's value, so I kick myself every now and then for passing over and dismissing the early Sonic issues as "kiddy comics".

Mega Man has such a deep character pool and backstory im surprised there's not really been an ongoing comic series published stateside.

Yeah, the first 50 or issues or so can catch double digits each, I'm in the same boat...between the artwork and being published by Archie it was easily dismissed.

I won't make the same mistake with Mega Man...at the very least, it should be worth more the NFL Superpro #1 or Cable #1...lol

hm. this could be very interesting once they get to Megaman X....and Megaman Zero omg perfect worlds to explore.

Hm perhaps they can also make sense of the DS games (those games were sooooo crap)

The ZX games? I didn't think they were any worse then Zero 1-4. After the entire second half of the X series they're practically God.
