Saturn vs. N64 FIGHT!
Alright, inspired by The Sega vs SNES thread lets see who will win. Use facts, opinions, specs or whatever to find out whos the supreme victor.
Prediction: Saturn will win, with mostly JP games stated but the angrist arguements will come fron the N64 side. Here's hoping for a Double K.O. though.

Nintendo 64, simply because of it's strong First-Party games, and excellent third-party gems that top off the library. Also, that controller......@_@

Saturn vs N64 in terms of what, exactly? If I'm looking at 3D action and adventure titles or fun party games, I've got to go with N64. If I'm looking at fighting games and shoot-em-ups, it's Saturn all the way. They fill totally separate niches for me, with very little overlap.

No terms needed, whatever you feel personally, Or which has a better engine under the hood "so to speak". If you feel both are equal in different ways vote double K.O.. There are tons of different way to compare and contrast the two .

Re: Saturn vs. N64 FIGHT!
alright, surprisingly I voted for Saturn.
Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the big N64 games. I don't really like Mario 64 compared to all the 2D Mario's. I prefer a lot of other Zeldas over Occarina (don't hit me!). Really I love Mario Kart 64, but besides that I'm so much more into SNES and GameCube.
Saturn on the other hand at least has a ton of shmups to collect.

I think it all comes down to preference. The Saturn and Nintendo 64 are radically different machines, so it is hard to accurately judge one against the other. Despite growing up with an N64, I'm going to have to vote for the Saturn, due to its unbelievable power in 2D games. In some cases, it surpassed even the Dreamcast in this area.

Saturn for the win!!
......Or you could vote N64 and Segata Sanshiro's Ghost will come to your house and kick your ass. lol.
But seriously, I prefer the Saturn over the N64. I just don't think the N64 had enough good games. Don't get me wrong, it had some good ones, just not enough to satisfy me.

I guess it's double KO for me? Even if I just try to compare which had better games in general... I feel that the Saturn had more a greater quantity of amazingly good games, but the few really good games N64 had generally seem better to me than the good games on Saturn.
Re: Saturn vs. N64 FIGHT!
The Saturn, simply because it catered more to my favourite genres; fighting games, shmups and strategy RPGs.
