Best antipiracy method EVER

Post by avrame »

Taken off of Kotaku:

If you download and play a pirated copy of the Michael Jackson Experience on the DS, all the visual cues and on screen prompts are removed, and the music is drowned out in vuvuzelas

So awesome :D

If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Haha, that's awesome.

Also, I'm intrigued about it sounding like an Elite Beat Agents with Michael Jackson music. Anyone here played it yet?

My favorite is in Pokemon Black/White where if it detected a pirate copy it just didn't give you XP in battles.

Best antipiracy method for me was for Pokemon HeartGold/Soulsilver: If you don't buy the original game you won't get a Pokewalker.

Of course the flash cards will update their loaders to fix this. Still funny, though.

I remember the first 'X - Beyond the frontier' would let you play for a couple of hours before setting your cash to Zero, preventing you from doing anything else in the game, even save. Cunning.

This actually shows a bit of humour on the half of some programmer, I like that.

Put a still picture of this man on your console/TV in order to burn his face into said console/TV
