It is impossible for me to agree more. Such an overblown series. :) - It lends itself too much to the 13-year kids yelling out racial slurs and typing "pwn" everywhere.

I don't dislike these games but I don't think they are as good as people say.

Final Fantasy VII
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Earthworm Jim
Flashback

DragonAge is a terrible game. There is so much wrong with it I don't even know where to begin.

Grand Theft Auto 4 and San Andreas are also pretty bad but they are popular simply by the name sake.

I really liked the style and atmosphere of Secret of Monkey Island but I really only enjoyed the first 1/4 of the game at most. The game gets progressively worse as you get into it and the last act is just awful. I didn't want to even finish the game but I was already so far into it.

Left 4 Dead 2. I've ranted enough about this game.

You just mentioned 4 of my favorite games of all time.

I think some people underestimate these games since they may have never completed them. San Andreas on the PC may be my favorite game of all time.

I have a soft spot for LJN.

EDIT: oops, this should be in Games You Like That Nobody Does.

It's funny how I like

Final Fantasy IX
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Out of this World
Gunstar Heroes

Which could be considered similar or the same as the ones I mentioned above. Also I might get flammed for this but I don't find Zombies Ate My Neighbors to be that good.

I will never flamm you.

See, I actually could care less for Vice City. Seems like GTA 3.5 to me. Then again, I grew up around the height of rap, and the LA lootings. It put's me right back to when I was a teenager.

Out of this World is great, but still feel like Flashback not only fixed a lot of the gameplay issues, but improved on every facet of the game.

I absolutely suck at Shmups. I have no idea why, maybe years of slow RPGs, Strategy games, and fps's have clogged my brains so I can't excel at these games. All I know is now that I don't crave them I can own a Saturn and Dreamcast without crying at the cost of those games (For the most part, waves fist at Panzer Dragoon Saga).

Kingdom Hearts..... Why the hell would anyone partner with Disney.... Childish much? Its a complete turn off to see Final Fantasy styles with Disney in it. Not only that... They had the nerve to bring in the FF characters of OTHER games and redesign their appearance thus destroying everything I hold dear to them. Branding crisis??????? Much. Square did it right with Nintendo for Super Mario RPG and I'd like to see another one but Kingdom Hearts I am sick of the hype.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.... I liked the first modern warfare but I am just completely ANTI Activision and their evil empire. They will rape your wallet and sell you the same thing until they can't anymore and say you suck at the same time.

Starcraft II
.... same thing as with my modern warfare comment. They destroyed SC2 with no lan and are doing the activision dance with expansions that are costing $60 a piece. I lost faith with Blizzard halfway through the making of SC2, long live SC1. I probably will not get Diablo III if it continues the same way. I guess we can only count on Valve these days to give their customers quality :)

Left for Dead.... I am not into the zombie killing.... It is just not something that appeals to me, hords of the same thing attacking me over and over... seems a waste of time?

Sports Games... The only sport I ever enjoyed was Basketball (Maybe VolleyBall) But that doesn't mean I need to play it in a game. I can not stand to watch sports on television. How utterly boring that is, Man throws a ball! Man catches the ball! oh nO!!!! he dropped it!!!! You know.. as I write this. theres only 2 games ive ever liked in this catagory and they are loose to it. NFL Blitz for N64 and Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey for N64, They were fun because they weren't real.

World of Warcraft
... Maybe I am bias because I was a FFXI kid but I really hate the cartoon feeling of the game and I just don't get it. It doesn't appeal to the adult in me and warcraft unfortunately is my least favorite Blizzard game series (I stopped at warcraft II, I think III sucked.)

Virtua Fighter
... This game is just too hard for me to play. I don't button mash but I shouldn't have to consult a guide everytime I need to fight. I like games like Tekken, Dead or Alive, and Soul Calibur They are easy to play and FUN. I am on the fence with Street Fighter though, the new one, because it has gotten slower and requires some combo knowledge. Hell, Mortal Kombat had combos in it and even complex ones for fatalities and it was still so much better (Recent ones have been not so good though).

Crysis
... I own it, I benchmark with it, It's pretty. But it is a horrible game. There is a mission in the first 3 levels that my 64 bit OS cant complete because of a game glitch that is common. The story is meh. It's just not something I want to continue playing. I feel like Far Cry 2 is like that as well, so I skipped that too.

Halo... I own Halo 2 for PC and ODST for Xbox. I played all except for Reach though. I really can't say I am addicted to it as most people are. I don't hate the series but I don't think it is anything to scream over either. The only reason it is popular from my understanding is because of the storyline. Think about it, there are like 8-10 books to go with this game on just story. Other than that the games are all pretty much the same. Combat is a little slow, I am used to faster FPS games.

That's what most people say... until they actually play it, that is. I know a few previously die-hard opposers to the concept warp up to the game fast after actually giving it a try.

They say that about WoW too but I'll never do that.

It is more of morals thing. The combat might be good, I don't know. I am just completely turned off and not interested
