Hey guys, I've found these locally in Japan - how do these prices look to you / how rare are these items?

Segagaga (DVD-type box - normal edition?) - $50

Segagaga (Big white box edition) - $150

Golden Famicom Golf Discs in FDS character case - $160 (US course) / $ $95 (JP course)

Virtua Fighter Mini Ltd. Ed. Game Gear set - $130
Image

Dragon Quest Slime Race (Board Game) $40

Some kind of Grandia book - $210
Image

Gundam Golden PS2 - $100

What do you think of these prices / items? Anyone have an idea of what the Grandia book is? I'm a big Grandia fan, but that's a lot of cash...

Buy them only if you want them. Rare to retire off selling rare video games.

Oh, I want them, I just want to know if anyone here considers any of them good prices.

A tough call, maybe compare at competing Retro shops in Japan?

I have played Sega Ga Ga, couldn't get into it. Too much click pass the dialog to do anything, maybe helped if I could read Japanese. Ironic that this came out, maybe Sega knew of their eventual demise to Sony?

What's up with those gold famicom disks? Never seen/heard of them before. They look interesting!

It came out in mid-2002 if I recall correctly, so it was more of a tongue in cheek send off for Sega fans.

When I'm in a situation like this, I just buy the one item I want the most.

out of all of those, i'd probably get the SGGG white box, if i had to pick.

i'd also probably just buy some saturn games if i were in japan dropping that kind of cash, though.

Here is the SGGG limited edition (white box) and what's inside from eBay... listed at $200:

Here is a link for those famicom disks... apparently they were a pretty rare contest prize:

First time I have seen most of these. The only things here I have seen more than one of are the Golden Gundam PS2 (at $100 boxed, $100 unboxed and $200 boxed) and another copy of Golf JP at the same price. I had never heard of the VF GG before I saw it.

I'm guessing these two are at the lower end then - so about normal prices.

That would be the special SGGG box then. And the DQ board game as it's the cheapest thing here.

I'm living here, so I'm not in a rush. A little OT, but does anyone know of a guide to all the Japan-exclusive Saturn games?

Cheers for the help folks!
