Do any of the Halos deserve critical reception they got?

Almost every single one of those FPS you named are practically identical to me. Save for Metroid Prime, I'd be hard pressed to tell any of them apart from a screen-shot. The entire genre is a bit derivative, isn't it? So why the hate specifically for Halo?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R shouldn't even be in there. It's more than just an FPS and you obviously haven't played it. It's one of the best modern games I've played this decade. And I hate almost everything made in this generation
