Anyone else going to be playing games for 24 hours straight to raise money for Children's Miracle Network on Saturday?
I decided to jump in last minute as I've always wanted to so one of these charity marathons, but was never sure how to setup the donation side of thing without paypal taking a big chunk. So when I saw this was happening I signed up instantly.
Anyone that wants to sponsor me can do so here

My current goal is just $96 (thats just 4 people donating 1 dollar per hour)
I'm currently planing on playing Dreamcast, Psx, Ps2, Xbox, Gamecube, GBA & maybe Megadrive/Mega CD. And if my Internet is up to the task I should be streaming it live on a site like ustream.
Any one else doing it should post their donation links too.

I actually work on Saturday.
The irony is that the place I work at, Food Lion (well, technically, Food Lion #685 in Avon, NC) happens to donate lots of money to the Children's Miracle Network.

good luck Saturday. I couldn't do it alone
I'm going to have 2 other people going the full 24 with me. A Girlfriend tending to our food/drink needs through out.
Plus after 5pm-3am more people are stopping by once we break out the boards games.
Here's my donation page

Also if you want to join my team just search for Team TIO
Not sure what the benefits of being on a team are but w.e. I expect a full report on your gaming escapades next week

Good luck to you too.
While I'll be doing most of it by my self I do have a friend joining me for a few hours during the day. I think the hardest part for me will be 3am - 8am on the Sunday.
I picked a theme for the games I'm going to be playing of "So bad they're good". So basically I'm playing games that have terrible voice acting or silly plots. Highlights include: The 90s X-Files game, Shemue and Shadow of Memories.
I've currently raised $42.45, but I still would like to reach the goal of $96. If any one wants to donate heres my link again is.

If you have a Dreamcast Zombie Revenge might be a good one for that group. An alright game but the plot and voice acting is lol worthy.
