S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat
Russian dialogue, Polish text
=)
apart from that, every game I ever played until I learned proper English (which is the main reason I learned any English in the first place)
truth be told I've never played through any game in my own language

Sin and Punishment, Rockman X 4, some fighters, almost beat Radiant Silvergun and some other games I can't remember right now. Probably Saturn titles

Well, I'm not going to count English because it would be kind of cheating
Other than that I have never played any Text-heavy game in a language I didn't understand. I have played most Japanese music games and I used to play Simcity IV in German, for some reason but nothing too heavy.

I forgot to mention I also beat the DS's Shining Force Feather. Not that difficult to figure out really menu wise but I really would've liked to know why I was doing what I was doing. Fun game nonetheless.

That I can remember:
D2 (Dreamcast) - Horror/adventure/RPG (used a walkthru a couple of times)
Dragon Knight II (PC Engine CD) - RPG (used a walkthru tho)
Doukyousei (PC Engine CD) - Dating sim (no walkthru, flying blind, not too hard to figure out tho)
I've also gotten halfway thru Aurora Quest (PCE CD) and Can Can Bunny Extra (PC-FX), even attempting to write a walkthru for the latter.

I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

I remember a lot of kids beating pokemon without knowing English. I don't know how they did it. It probably took them weeks to figure out the HM thing to get past the roadblocks the game has.

It is very likely that someone that knew English figured out what to do and it circulated from person to person (e.g. in School).

I beat the Japanese version of Quackshot but this loses all credit when you realise that the game is in english.
