Yeah, it's pretty solid. Some good beat'em up action with the usual assortment of item fetch quests, puzzles, etc. to break things up. What I liked the most was the ways you could kill vamps. The game has the cool "dusting" effect from the show for when you steak them. You can take them out with fire, sunlight and everything else you'd expect as well. The story, humor and dialogue are very good and true to the show. Though the game goes overboard with Buffy's voice overs. You get tired of hearing them and they are not always appropriate to the situation. It exists somewhere in Buffy season 3 continuity-wise, though it's not an official part of the tv show's story. Your mileage may vary with the second Buffy game. It has some good parts, but I though the combat was a bit sloppy and the game had annoying bugs.
I've enjoyed the Bloodrayne games. They're not great, but they're solid and you actual play as a vamp and can feed on people. The first one's gameplay was sort of Max Payne-ish I'd say while the second one feels a bit more beat'em up flavored.
Of course, I think the Castlevania games go without saying in this topic, with Symphony of the Night being the best choice if you want to play as a vamp
Capcom's Darkwatch
I liked Soul Raver better than Blood Omen myself, though Blood Omen is more vampirey(I know that's not a word LOL)
I've been watching Supernatural and looking to try out True Blood soon, so I'm kind of in the mood for some good supernaturally themed games myself.
