Apart from what's already been mentioned, I visit AtariAge and Armchair Arcade frequently. Armchair Arcade is pretty small, but the people there are smart and published authors. Great content.

I'm surprised at the lack of Sega sites. Is Sega-16 really the biggest retro sega site..?
