Sega Game Gear Boxes

Hey all, wondering if some kind fellow could get their tape measure out and measure something? 
I seem to be having a hard time determining the box sizes of Game Gear games. The reason I am asking is that me and a group of guys are putting together an Emulation launcher and ROM organiser application for Mac OSX.

I want to use the box front as the cover art...but can't find a precise measurement online.
It also appears that the cardboard boxes were different sizes in USA, EU and JP?
