Have you ever felt lifted up by a franchise?
Re: Have you ever felt lifted up by a franchise?
I think Shinobi III was better than Revenge of Shinobi. But I also prefer the master system shinobi to Revenge of Shinobi.

This is a joke right?

Street Fighter Alpha felt like it was very rushed, directionless and just lacking in a lot of ways. Street Fighter Alpha 2 then turned out to be one of my favorite fighters of all time.

Kingdom Hearts was one of my favorite PS2 games. Very charming characters, nice combat and just a nice, light, fun-for-all-ages adventure. Kingdom Hearts II was absolutely dreadful - all flash and absolutely no substance. The game completely overpowered the player into making every confrontation a breeze, even on the highest difficulty, and it seemed like the devs thought combining Dragonball Z with Hot Topic would make for a successful game, because that's all it is: overpowered characters doing overly flashy combos and spells while dressed in black and acting mopey the whole damn time.

You think it's getting worse? I've enjoyed every single game and each one has become a little better than the other. I have fond memories of Link to the Past and I think it's the best but each game has exceded my expectations. But then maybe I'm just weird. I have mentioned before that the first Zelda game I finished was Adventure of Link, and I thought it was a good game then and I think it's a good game now.
Thanks everyone...
