A question about selling arcade cabinets

Post by timidturtle »

I wasn't sure where to post this but basically my question is what arcade cabinets are people looking to buy mainly?

I can get these cabinets to sell cheaper than retail. They would be new/excellent condition.

short story to explain how.

My parents recently just met their neighbors and got invited to their party. I went along and met the neighbors for the first time anyway my neighbor actually had a good number of cabinets in his garage and is the ceo of entertainment at Dave and Busters. Basically he runs the way that they get the games into the arcades. Anyways we kinda struct up some converation about how if I could help him find out what people are looking for he would give me some profit. I didn't know what to ask him could get but I brought up SF, neo geo, MvC and some others and he said he could get these for pretty cheap.

This might sound kinda sketchy, but my mind was blown haha
anyways what are people looking for really?

An MvC2 cabinet would complete me.

I'd shit my pants if I could get a dirt cheap Neo-Geo cab or a Japanese "candy" (aka those short stout Japanese Style arcade cabs) cab for cheap.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS
