+1 for this place. It's the front couple of rooms in someone's house, but they're stacked floor-to-ceiling with cool, old stuff.

Also, one correction: The Disc Replay in Lansing, MI is called "Disc Traders," despite the fact that it is part of the same chain. http://www.disctraders.com

Streetlight Records also buy and sell vintage video games. From current gen to as old as NES and Master System, but I don't think any older. I checked out the Santa Cruz Location, Ebay prices, but they do have specials.. buy 3 get 1 free under 9.98.

Grand opening August 27 2011.

Added bonus, store has over 20 pinball and arcade cabinets.

I was just checking the thread, wondering why I didn't see this place on the list before. Turns out it just opened; guess I should have known.

I just went by there though, and it was really cool. +1

North Hollywood, CA 91605
Hours: 11am to 7pm PST 7 days a week
Phone: (818)764-2442
Website: http://www.gamedude.com

This store carries games for just about every system ever made, and carries literally hundreds of games for each of the "main" systems (Atari 2600, Nes, Genesis, Dreamcast, etc.). They even have quite a large selection of games for systems like the Neo Geo AES and Turbographx.

Next Gen Video Games
5001 Wilshire Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90036
Phone: (323)938-3400

While it may not have the largest selection of retro games, it does have a quality selection. Multiple copies of games like Conker's Bad Fur Day, Secret of Mana, Xenogears, and more rare/hard to find games.

Hey guys, if anyone lives in Rhode Island they know it's not exactly the best place for local retro game collecting (or at least in my experience). A new local store just opened called Button Mashers Video Games http://buttonmashersvideogames.com/ and they're shaping up to be a really nice place. If anyone gets a chance I suggest checking them out. They sell retro and modern games and do repairs on game consoles. The guys that that own the place are really great people, so support your local gaming addiction and stop by if you get a chance :p

This is just opening today, I'll probably hit it this weekend and get an actual address, but I presume it is in the strip mall here.
