Oh, OK. I didn't mean to come off as rude, I just thought the OP had abandoned this.

2nd Chance added a second store.

2nd Chance
2650 E. Beltline SE.
Grand Rapids, MI 49546
(616)285-5054

Game Warehouse closed.

Game Warehouse [Westnedge Ave.]: -1 Rating
4428 South Westnedge Avenue
Kalamazoo, MI 49008
(269) 903-2309

What? Second Chance got a new location? And I know where that is, too! It's right near the Play N' Trade! Also, the Game Warehouse moved across the street, and changed their name to Trade World. I'll update it later.

You are right about Game Warehouse, but they sold all of their retro stock to 2nd Chance. Im told that they are going to be doing more second hand movies than games.

There is also a place called Treasure Quest. They just moved to a new location on Cork.

Treasure Quest
826 E Cork St
Kalamazoo, MI 49001
269-345-1234

Ah, I was wondering where those guys went. They're overpriced for a lot of stuff, but it's still a neat little store.

Anyway, the is updated now. Back to studying for finals...

Google map of Michigan retro video game stores listed in lisalover1's directory.

I'm not familiar with Google Maps collaboration feature. Should I make this map public for anyone to edit, or is there a way for me to just allow access to Racketboy users?

Does anyone want to do this for other states/provinces? Would everyone prefer individual state maps or one all-encompassing map?

I've got a couple of +1s to dole out after a great beer drinking trip to Asheville, North Carolina, that also resulted in some solid retro game acquisitions.

Cash Converters [Asheville]:
535 Merrimon Ave. #A
Asheville, NC 28804-3493
(828) 285-9529

Atari games were priced at $1.99. I brought Pitfall 2, Zaxxon, Star Raiders, and Battlezone up to the counter and when I asked about the odd sound that Pitfall 2 made (sounded like something was loose inside), he said that I could have all four games for $1. Every game worked great after cleaning the contact points.

Game Xcape
809 Patton Ave.
Asheville, NC 28806-3618
(828) 350-0343

I traded in $7.50 worth of games I had no interest in and carefully picked out three Nintendo carts (Blades of Steel, Xexyz, and Guardian Legend). Each was priced at $3.25, but when I went to pay the bill the guy at the counter he said we could just call it even.

Thanks so much for putting this guide together; a quick google search on my phone turned up this thread and I was on my way to the above stores.
I run the 8/16-bit retro site TimeWarpGamer and if you want to follow the latest updates, check me out on Twitter.

Wow, excellent work! I think that we should set a password for collaborating with the map, but I would include it in the first port of the thread.
