I really like this game a lot, great multi-player action, me and my friend played for an hour or so and really enjoyed it. I finished it on 3-stars, it was pretty fucking hard to beat Doc Doom, but the final boss was a push over with Wolverine.

Really need to get a Ram cart for my Saturn.

earthworm jim 2 is awesome possum. varied gameplay throughout. ain't nothing wrong with that.

earnest evans is pretty bad game. and for being as bad as it is, i actually spent some time with it. the game is a son of a bitch for not having any recovery time after being damaged by an enemy. so you can go from full health to dead almost instantly. but it made up for it by restarting you in the exact same spot where you died.

i got the bug to play jurassic park after reading a thread about it being a member's worst game he owned.

wonder boy in monster world kicks so much ass. a quick and dirty way to describe it is zelda II minus the rpg elements OR the legend of zelda on a 2d perspective.

metal slug 3: the only thing i have to say about this game is that the xbox 360 controller has to be one of the worst controllers ever invented. shooting up without running left or right is impossible. until i get a controller with a decent d-pad on it i don't think i will ever fully enjoy this game.
if you took a shit, please put it back

Unlocked all the presents and also finished the game as Sonic, I really enjoyed it and cant wait to find a cheap copy of NiGHTS and a 3D controller as using the DPAD really starts to hurt your wrist after awhile.

January - June: 50 games (click for titles and stats)
Angry Birds -iPhone *new*
Deathsmiles - 360 *new*

Total: 52

Angry Birds is one of the more addictive games I've played in years, and there are a LOT of levels - some of which present a real challenge. Might be the most bang for a buck I've ever got in a game. Highly reccomended.

Deathsmiles makes the list because I've seen the credits screen a few times, but I'll be playing it in search of a 1CC for a while still. Another great title by Cave.

Next Up: The backlog keeps growing, but I am partway through about 5-6 games right now that I need to just bite the bullet and finish up. At some point I intend to get back to Snickerdoodle's Summer Challenge as well, though some of the longer games on that list seem daunting right now...

I'm currently trying to get three stars for every stage on Angry Birds, and I'm finding it to be the most challenging task ever :/ but it's sooooo fun

You are a better man than I. Some of those middle stages are brutal.

1. Phantasy Star (GBA)
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall Of The Foot Clan (GB)
3. Super Mario Bros. 2 (GBA)
4. OutRun (GBA)
5. Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival (GBA)

I probably beat SFII every couple months. But I figured I'd add it. This is is one of my absolute favorite GBA carts. Oh, and I use Chun-Li if you were wondering.

Both Little Kings Story and Muramasa were great games. Who says the wii has no hardcore gamer titles?

Little Kings Story is long and fairly challenging. Its simple to grasp, but not always so simple to beat. Despite lots of instant kill enemies who can wipe large swathes of your army out in one hit, it never feels too cheap. That said, keeping my army alive became more of a priority than in pikmin (the two are very similar), because if a soldier died too often, they'd suffer permadeath, complete with a funeral. Luckily, because i'd played quite a lot of this before, I didn't permanently lose a single guy! :D One of the best games on wii imo.

Muramasa is pretty mindless. Its a slash 'em up with only 2 attack buttons and about 15 enemy types max and yet it still manages to hold your attention nicely. Its pretty quick to run through one story, but theres plenty to do after aswell as 2 characters stories, and 3 endings for each of the 2 characters. Pretty fun, and definetely worth it if you can get it for a reasonable price.

Next up on the alphabet marathon: Okami, Quarth and Red Steel (¬_¬).

In one week I should be back at home too, so I can play catch up with Chuchu rocket, Jet Set Radio, Nights and, if i get that far, Pokemon Stadium for the marathon.

I made it a must do thing last year to finish the Halo trilogy, I only finished Halo 1 because I found i so boring and repetitive, number two was slightly better and up until the last level I found Halo 3 just as boring. I felt the games didnt really evolve from there original formula which I found pretty boring to start with, and the flood are the most frustrating / boring thing created, walk through a level, the walk back via the flood, they did it in every game and it sucked in all of them.

Oh well its done now.
