Man oh man... I was an alliance character and back in TBC I had probably the best geared resto shaman on my server and was also a glad player... The game overall is easy and I totally got bored with it by WoTLK... The only thing that kept me coming back was the community which I admit was awesome... WotLK pissed me off though, I mean the game became very unbalanced in PvP and ICC was a joke, plus my computer sucked so I had to give it up... Not sure if I'll ever come back either..Ack wrote:World of Warcraft - I teamed up with a friend to hunt down Alliance players in the wilderness on a PvP server. He played Rogue, I played Fury Warrior. We'd trap players in corners, ambush them from behind structures and trees, waylay roads, slaughter higher level players, and frighten lower level folks. World PvP was the best part of that game.

Yeah man I'm not gonna lie... I was a great UT 2003/2004 player but the community was a joke... Nothing but trash talkers, although I met some great friends also... BUt the community throughout WoW was much better I must admit this..Ack wrote:Easy. They play with their girlfriends/boyfriends/friends. Every MMO I've gotten into in the past five years I played with friends I knew outside of the game. I've been friends with married couples that played together and seen relationships form over such games. You'd be surprised how much interaction between human beings goes on in a persistent world when multiple people realize they can't survive on their own without help. Sure beats the swill I hear in online FPS matches, or the trash talk friends have encountered at video game tournaments.
Plus, it's nice to be able to talk about a game you're playing with folks who understand while you're playing the game.
