Podcast #75 - Shovels, Bubbles, and Troubles

Post by dsheinem »

After much delay, here's something we did in June

" Dave and John weigh in on the World’s Largest Video Game Collection auction, talk about the indie gaming bubble, Shovel Knight, cyberpunk fiction, and the Retron 5."

Anytime something is popular people start to think it's a bubble that will explode like in 1983.

Personally, I don't believe there's an "indie bubble" and hence cannot explode. I also don't think it will become of reduced importance, as you said Dave,I think it will pave the way for more established companies and authors.
