1- Does Dave always make really horrible puns? Don't get me wrong i love bad puns, but Dave's were really bad and screwed up John when he was making a point.

2- Was it just me or did Daves audio sound weird right at the end of when he would stop talking? There were little sounds, idk how to explain it.

I love this post!

1. Yes Dave loves to thwart me with shenanigans every chance he can get.

2. I think that was Dave drinking beer. Part of the reason #1 happened.

But otherwise, welcome new listener! I am glad you enjoyed the episode.

Didn't you read? I was about to but then you interrupted me with bad puns.

When he'd stop talking in general, like at the end of phrases, or do you mean at the end of the podcast?

If it's the former, that might be my fault, but I'd probably need a bit more details to figure out what you mean.

How come you guys don't do a video discussion instead of a podcast?

A few things I can think of:

1. You could be hearing the noise on John's audio coming back in. His audio has a lot of background noise, and I usually just duck his whole audio out manually while Dave is talking and bring it back in when John talks.

2. I did use a noise gate on Dave, but I tried to set the release long enough so that it doesn't cut off in an unnatural way or anything, but there might still be some issues. Dave has a little bit of background noise too, which will cut out when he stops talking thanks to the gate, which might sound a bit odd too depending on how things are set.
