i need to show this to my friend who read that blog back then. So much for 'the prophecy' and the 'apocalypse of sega'
I'm still not sure whether I'm a kid or a squid now.

Someone's getting the sack, if it hasn't happened already.
Re: The Blog Sega Doesn’t Want You to Read
Hehe, this isn't really surprising at all.
Re: The Blog Sega Doesn’t Want You to Read
This saddens me greatly.
I was huge Sega fan long before I owned a Nintendo.
It's a bummer to see what Sega is doing to Sonic. It's time for them to just put him down for good.

Post Megadrive/Genesis Sega did some really stupid things. The huge bitch fight between Sega Japan and Sega USA utterly destroyed the company from the inside out. All o ftheir products (MegaCD, 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast) has massive potential, and it was all destroyed by stupid high level politics and dickheads in suits.
How I long for a world run by geeks and techies. Time for the suits to step aside.

Yeah yeah poor sonic wahhh. Just remember how a free market works. If nobody bought the crap Sonic games it wouldn't be worth it for SEGA to make them.
Re: The Blog Sega Doesn’t Want You to Read
I keep holding out hope the next Sonic game will return to it's roots with some slight twists. The problem is I've been hoping since after SA2 was released and Sega keeps breaking my heart.
I do have Sonic Mega Mix, but it's a slight letdown as well, but still leaps and bounds ahead of the garbage Sega has been releasing.
As long as the blue hedgehog is still around I will continue to hope for true sequal to Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Systems: Atari 2600, Atari Jaguar, NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Genesis 3, Genesis 2, 32X, Sega CD (model 2), Saturn (model 1), Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox (Modded), Xbox 360, GameBoy, GBA SP, Game Gear, PSP... always adding more

A Sega representative did decide to respond to the resurfacing of this story, if anyone is interested:
