Microsoft really wants Radiant Silvergun

Apparently they're actively working on trying to get Treasure to get it on XBLA. Which would be awesome for people like me who want it but don't want to spend the large amount of money on it.

We already have a thread about this in the SHMUPS board. It's a different article, but same discussion.

Wow, Microsoft and I have alot of things in common.

Ive been wanting to play RS for a couple of years now, but who wants to spend so much on that game?

If Sega's stuff can make it on XBLA, then this shouldnt be a problem...

Why? So only people who are willing to pay the premium price can enjoy it?

No, because microsoft and xbox sucks ass. If they are going to do it, do it right and release it for something better.

I think many would agree, XBLA would be "doing it right".

I would hope after 70 posts on this forum you would have caught onto the fact that console war bullshit doesn't really carry much water around here. If people on the RB forums were stuck on which precious hardware they played games on we wouldn't care much about 20 and 30 year-old platforms. Take your school yard BS to GameFaqs or GAF. And even if you're just posing trying to get a rise out of people, well, that's just as bad.

An XBLA release would be welcome, as would a PSN, VC or Steam release. Anything to get classics in people's hands as easily as possible in ways that support the original devs. Games are meant to played, no matter their age or rarity.

What a well written and detailed response, let us analyze the bullet points of you're argument.
THESIS = Fuck that shit, Microsoft shouldn't get it
WHY
Microsoft sucks ass, along with xbox
- ass sucking has no place in the development of radiant silver gun
If done by Microsoft, it would not be done RIGHT
- as previously stated, since the xbox sucks ass, it would not be beneficial to release it on the xbox.
nobody wants any ass sucking after all
Something better should be involved
- while it puzzles me personally why a game that is around a decade old realy needs an amazing
system, the xbox sucks ass, and yet again, we can all agree that it would be better that it be
released for a system that does not have anal sucking tendencies.
CONCLUSION
-xbox sux

Genius. You, sir, are an excellent debater.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?
