Sega Announces Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection
Re: Sega Announces Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection
This collection is awesome, but where is Golden Axe : Revenge of the Death Adder and Sonic cd? I will probably get this because of Streets of Rage 3,Ecco games and others, I remember writing down the password for the levels. They should release a Sega Saturn collection,I would love that.
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade

phantasy star 1 is great gameRadarScope1 wrote:Yeah, PS1 will be there based on those clues. There's also an achievement/trophy for playing "every arcade game." Since the 40 listed are all Genesis games, and Genny ports of Sega arcade titles, I think we can expect to see some classic Sega arcade games, too. The only question is which ones and how many. Based on the way the achievement is worded, it sounds like a pretty good number of them. I'm pretty pumped for this collection. I'll still be able to play 16 bit classics on my new TV.
Game systems:Original Xbox,PS2 Slim,PS3 60GB.

LOL
No reason to argue about disc comps vs original carts. There's great pluses to both formats, which we've discussed at length.

Re: Sega Announces Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection
CONFIRMED UNLOCKABLES:
Golden Axe Warrior (SEGA Master System)
Phantasy Star (SEGA Master System)
Alien Syndrome (Arcade)
Altered Beast (Arcade)
Congo Bongo (Arcade)
Fantasy Zone (Arcade)
Shinobi (Arcade)
Space Harrier (Arcade)
Zaxxon (Arcade)
Cool. PS confirmed. Nice to see original version of Shinobi there, and Space Harrier. I'm happy to see Fantasy Zone on there. For some odd reason I've always wanted to check that one out, but the only console I could get it for would be NES and that version looks like ass.
Anyone know if they plan to announce more? (I asked on the Sega blog.)
And .... STILL NO SONIC CD! WTF?

I suppose its possible we will see more. That list has 49 games and all they said was over 40. It would rock if Sonic CD was an unannounced extra.
