Damn, with these new source materials for the music and remastering work done, I really hope some of the labels here wise up and release them in a digital format as well, seeing as they probably master them for vinyl through digital means in the first place.

With the new Streets of Rage vinyl that is now at (data-discs.com), they have this in their description page:
Audio sourced from the original NEC PC-88 files, recorded and supplied in 32bit/96kHz by Yuzo Koshiro, in combination with a 32bit/96kHz direct capture from a PAL Mega Drive (HD, VA4, non-TMSS) Yamaha YM2612 sound chip, running at 60Hz through a stereo output mod.

Yet they have no plans to do a digital release as well. Imagine those original 32bit files being released(!)
